Light is a wave
Light is how the sky writes to us. We do not fly to a star. We read the light that already arrived.
Light travels as a wave. The length of that wave is the trick.
Short waves look blue / violet.
Long waves look red.
There are waves we cannot see too — ultraviolet on the short side, infrared on the long side. Same family. Different stretch.
